In March 2026, the sales and engineering teams from Henan DOING GROUP assisted an Indian client in installing a pyrolysis project for the recycling and processing of EVA plastic waste.
Check out the video of the DY-15TPD Model Plastic Pyrolysis Machine in India here:
Through the plastic pyrolysis machine, waste plastic can not only be properly disposed of but also converted into fuel oil—specifically, Plastic Pyrolysis Oil.
The calorific value of Plastic Pyrolysis Oil can reach as high as 42.86 MJ/kg (based on SGS test data for samples of crude industrial oil from a Henan DOING client). It can be used in industrial boilers, kilns, and furnaces as a substitute for heavy oil or light oil in various sectors, such as steel mills, aluminum refineries, metal smelting plants, cement factories, glassworks, galvanizing plants, and more.

In addition to EVA waste of the Indian pyrolysis project, DOING plastic pyrolysis machine can process the following types of waste plastics:
Polyethylene (PE): Including High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE); commonly found in plastic bags, bottles, packaging films, etc.
Polypropylene (PP): Such as food containers, woven bags, automotive components, etc.
Polystyrene (PS): Such as expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, disposable food boxes, packaging fillers, etc.
ABS Plastic: Commonly found in appliance casings, toys, automotive parts, etc.
Mixed Waste Plastics: Mixtures of various plastics can still be processed; this is particularly suitable for low-quality mixed plastics that are difficult to recycle mechanically.
Multi-layer Composite Plastic Packaging: Such as food packaging pouches, beverage cartons, etc., which are typically difficult to recycle mechanically but are well-suited for pyrolysis.
Contaminated Plastics: Plastics soiled by oil, dirt, or other contaminants; these are unsuitable for cleaning and mechanical recycling but can be directly processed via pyrolysis.

Plastics Not Recommended for Processing (or Requiring Pre-treatment)
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): At high temperatures, PVC tends to release corrosive and toxic gases—such as hydrogen chloride—which can corrode the equipment and contaminate the final products. Therefore, direct processing is generally not recommended. If processing is absolutely necessary, it must be accompanied by a chlorine removal pre-treatment system.
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET): It exhibits a relatively high cracking temperature, yields complex products, results in a low oil output rate, and is prone to coking, which can clog the equipment.
